HP Service Management Center is a comprehensive, ITIL-based IT service, asset and identity, and access-management solution. The center helps customers reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction by optimizing and automating IT processes to meet business needs. Service Manager is the core enterprise application in this center, driving big portion of the center sales/revenues and being used by many enterprise customers in the industry worldwide. The QA team in Shanghai is an integral part of the software delivery process for Service Manager Product. The Hands-on Quality Assurance Team Lead is the front line leader of the day-to-day operation of the QA team. The Team Lead must have both technical expertise and leadership skills in order to be successful. She/He must be able to speak the language of developers and to have experience working in an enterprise software development environment. QA team are part of project teams working together every day with software developers, architects, technical writers, UI experts and product management according to the agile software development methodology. As the lead of the QA team you will also be responsible for establishing and managing the test automation methodology and implementation as well as building the framework to increase productivity and effectiveness of the entire QA program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervises QA Engineers as direct reports, including and not limited to: performance reviews, career development planning, work planning and goals and objective setting Hands-on manager of the testing operations for complex environments made up of product deployed on variety of software encompassing the latest Operating Systems, Web Application Servers, Databases and web servers on both Intel and UNIX based platforms. Manages product functionality, scalability, fault tolerance, and performance testing in complex environments. Works with the R management team to reflect product status accurately and on time to enable product release decision making. Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for testing. Monitors, manages and tutors team members on the approach and techniques for functional, performance, and regression testing of our product. Develops and implements strategic master test plans for each product releases. Maintains the inventory of test plans and performs analysis to identify new testing requirements for each release. Recruits quality assurance engineers to staff the team as needed. Communicates effectively with members of software development, product support, and other project related groups to ensure project and customer satisfaction objectives are met. Defines and implements the strategic plan for test automation. Performs analysis on release cycle data for inclusion in test reports. Gathers team operation productivity metrics and derives correction plan when needed. Education BA or BS in Computer Science or Engineering. (MS advantage) Skills and Experience Must posses a minimum of 2 years QA/Software test leadership/management. (Enterprise product a plus) Must possess a minimum of 3+ years of QA/Software testing experience. Must possess a minimum of 2+ years of QA/Software Test Automation Development. Must be very proficient with testing tools such as Load Runner, Quick Test Professional, Quality Center, Ruby, Watir, Fitness, Cruise Control, or similar testing tools and test automation development platforms/frameworks. Must possess a very solid understanding of testing methodologies. Must have very good verbal and written communication skills Experience in full software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies. (Agile methodologies experience preferred). Possess strong project and resources management skills Strong consulting skills Leadership qualities (e.g., integrity, attention to detail, sense of urgency, goal oriented, motivator, etc.) Experience working well with internal and external partners Ability to interface with all levels in customer organization ÁªÏµ·½Ê½£º .
