Ongoing review/assure of ODM suppliers" quality plan/docs 2.) Communicate Lenovo"s Quality reqs/Tgts to the ODM suppliers 3.) Assure ODM incoming parts quality (e.g. parts supplier qualification data review, actual ‘ performance review vs Tgt, etc) 4.) Assure ODM Mfg operators/processes are qualified/certified. 5.) Ongoing assurance of ODM box Mfg, station by station / end to end (via SOP/doc. review, audits, performance review vs Tgt, problem resolution, reporting to Lenovo) - ODM PCN communication to Lenovo is a must, including the actual review of changes, by Lenovo on-site reps. - Lead/drive any Lenovo PCR communication to ODM supplier. 6.) Ongoing review of ODM Mfg run-in data, including time to fail,&follow-up w/ODM for their actions 7.) Assure all of ODM hi-pot failures are recorded (&reported to Lenovo within the same day) 8.) Daily, assure, ODM outgoing quality (e.g. OOB/X-CSA plan, sample sizes, performance vs Tgt, problem resolution, reporting to Lenovo, etc). - This include, F/Gs, Shells, FRUs, etc - Ongoing coordination w/ Cust Facing QE to verify accuracy 9.) Daily, work with the ODM, and together, review ODM repair station data, and identify top issues for ODM analysis&actions 10.) Assure final Pkging (design, Mtrl, cost, etc) meet Lenovo Std - Ck the results of tests performed by ODM 11.) Work with the ODM suppliers, regarding any special "control bld" activities (e.g. sample size, problem tracking/Mgmt/reporting) 12.) Work with the ODM suppliers, regarding Lenovo ELP activities (e.g. test profile, sample size, problem tracking/Mgmt/reporting) 13.) Work with the ODM suppliers, regarding any ORT activities, at the CM/ODM or their commodity suppliers (e.g. test profile, sample size, problem tracking/Mgmt/reporting) 14.) Assure that ODM suppliers are performing Failure Analysis of ALL X-CSA/OOB/ORT/hi- pot/run-in/etc failures, including detal fact shts/actions/etc. 15.) Performance random sampling; OOB/X-CSA audit (including full ESD practice by ODMs) - Ongoing coordination w/ Cust Facing QE for audit items 16.) Drive any screen/rework activities at ODM Mfg locations 17.) For new products, assess box Mfg process/product performance for SIT/SVT exit, and SOVP/ship support 18.) Provide on-site support of SIT/SVT/SOVP bld/testing at ODM suppliers 19.) For new products, drive SRR, and assess ODM Mfg readiness 20.) For new products, participate in MDRR/MRR/etc, and take position 21.) Assure "lessons Learned" implementation at ODM - Verify effectiveness w/ Cust Facing QEs 22.) Lead/drive ODM Mfg PSRB activities, including UL/CSA audits 23.) ECRB participation 24.) Assure (via audit), the implementation/break-in of ECs by CMs 25.) Lead weekly, end to end, Quality data review with ODMs, for actions/improvments/etc Requirements: 1. Min. 3-5 years experience in the area of Quality Engineering 2. Good understanding of PC products, Mfg, problem resolution, Creating/presenting Quality Pkges 3. Experience&Skills needed to work with suppliers 4. Familiarity with SPC, Six Sigma Principles, etc. The preferred candidates will have: 1. 4 years College degree in one of the following area; Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering 2. Experience in handling Worldwide projects 3. Hands on experience in debugging complex electronic circuits 4. Demonstrated Technical Leadership abilities 5. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. 6. Ability to work under tight schedules, meet objectives with minimal management guidance 7. Demonstrated problem solving skills 8.
