Responsibilities included providing and leading productivity idea generation opportunities across GE Security Center of Excellence (COE) teams. Must have strong design and project management skills and will be able to work with multidisciplinary teams to help GE Security deliver productivity. Must be able to provide technical support to project teams on ideas for the COE, which can enable cost savings opportunities for the business. Responsibilities include company-wide productivity programs and driving cost out initiatives in the business. Join the Mechanical group of GE security and utilize your design skills in Plastic, Metal sheet Design. Be involved in all phases of Product development (design to Testing) Work in small, self-motivated teams transforming customer requirements into product requirements Use State-of-the-art CAD /CAE systems to execute and validate your design using Packages like Pro E, Solid Edge, ANSYS tools and perform Six Sigma quality analysis of your design Receive Six Sigma training and join cross-functional teams contributing to Six Sigma projects improving team productivity and product quality Partner with sourcing commodity leaders to develop and drive cost out plan. Work with sourcing to identify and qualify suppliers and to establish a mechanism to get competitive design input from suppliers Interface and influence cross functionally with Sourcing,, Manufacturing, Technology and vendors in execution of projects. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: BE/ B. or above Tech in CS/Electronics/Electrical 4+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Design/Modeling skills using CAD Packages like Pro E, Solid edge Exposure to tooling/ Manufacturing. Experience with Windows based operating systems Excellent language skill on English reading, speaking and writing Must have mechanical aptitude to work with tools in tearing down product assemblies Preferred - Six Sigma Training Preferred - experience in Security product Lead multiple concurrent VCP projects across diverse product lines. Towards this, develop design plans and project schedules and ensure cost reduction goals are achieved. Conduct design feasibility studies to validate cost out concepts Perform design changes to increase the cost out opportunities. Experience in design changes will be an advantage Evaluate and conduct redesigns of existing products in order to reduce costs&improve manufacturability Must be able to work in a cross functional team and be able to effectively communicate idea GENERAL DESCRIPTION: CTC 联系方式： .
