VWS Beijing Office is involved in the design, construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants for municipal clients both in China and South East Asia. The Position Reporting to: Project Manager Description of the position: The QA/QC Engineer will be in charge of coordinating and supervising QA/QC on site Main responsibilities: § Coordination of all QA/QC activities on site. § Prepare the main QA/QC plan and particular quality procedures. § Monitor the implementation of the QA/QC plan. § Carry out quality audits to endure that quality plan is implemented. § Liaison with local authorities. § Assist Project Manager on all matters related to Quality Based in: Shenzhen for the project duration of about 2 years Mobility: Not required for this posting. Able to travel all over China for subsequent posting Candidate Profile Education: § Bachelor degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent Experience: § Minimum 5 yrs experience in the position of QA/QC Engineer on site or as a consultant. Skills: § Working knowledge of Chinese rules, regulations, permits&contractor’s obligations. § Speaks, reads and writes English. § Good command of standard Microsoft software.
