The ideal candidate will have a strong command of : JavaScript DHTML DOM CSS HTML&XHTML web standards, object-oriented programming cross-browser compatibility issues performance optimization (client and server side) and website localization. The ideal individual should also have strong process and organizational abilities. In short, the key responsibilities are: Develop, deploy, and maintain dynamic, user-friendly web applications. Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve web site scalability. Work closely with other departments in identifying and refining requirements and user interface design tradeoffs. At least 4+ years experience developing rich browser-based web applications. At least 2+ years experience with JSP, or similar scripting language, and loves designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript. Proven expert-level knowledge in: HTML, XHTML, XML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript. Ability to write clean, legible code with cross-browser compatibility. Well versed in the AJAX paradigm Understanding of database design and SQL. Strong object oriented design and development skills. English perfection Good understanding of Web usability standards and concepts. Good eye for layout and fonts. Awareness of user experience. Knowledge of performance tuning.
