The successful candidate will have the responsibilities of: People management&development: Recruiting, building, and managing a software design team of 10 to 15 people, and developing and implementing plans for the career / personal development of the team members. Project management: Ensure the quality and on time delivery of the committed project by participating in the project planning, resource management, progress tracking, and status reporting activities. Requirements: B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or relevant fields. 5+ years of experience in the telecommunication industry, with 2+ years in a technical lead/management role. Strong communication skills, both in English and Mandarin. Understanding of the industry quality systems, include but not limited to TL9000, CMMI. Solid knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++/Java and one of the major telecommunication product/solution: VoIP/GSM/UMTS/CDMA. The following skills and experience would be an asset: - Understanding of Nortel’s Development Process PEMS. - Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment across multiple time zones. - Understanding of Nortel’s 3GPP standards 联系方式： 邮箱： hr_rnd@gdnt.com.cn .
