职位描述(Job Descriptions) fe5 Job SpecificationJob Title: Engineering Manager (China)Location: ChengduResponsible to: Engineering DirectorSummary of RoleWill be responsible for managing Engineering activities within Company, including new product introduction, CNC machine tools investment policy and ongoing management, manufacturing documentation, CAD/CAM, tooling, process improvement and estimating. Will work closely with other functions to develop operational and business performance and satisfy customer and regulatory requirementsKey TasksManagement and development of manufacturing engineering teamManagement of new product introduction processDevelopment of manufacturing techniques which eliminate quality and manufacturing issues and optimise costIdentification of tooling requirements supporting new product introductionDevelopment of manufacturing strategy and CNC and Conventional machine tool purchase and ongoing managementReview of drawings and control of estimating for new productsDevelop measures of performance and promote continuous improvement activities within engineeringDevelopment and Management of all manufacturing documentation Any other tasks deemed commensurate with your role by management.Qualities RequiredDegree in relevant technical discipline3 years experience in a senior Engineering role, ideally for a High Technology manufacturing companyExperience using Autocad and Mastercam would be an advantageExperienced writing CNC programmes for CNC Lathes and VMC’s preferableEstimating experienceExperience implementing process control improvements and continuous improvement activities Resolution of all technical issues and liason internally and externallyExperience in manufacturing environment with ability to confidently interpret drawing requirements (Chinese&English)Track record of successfully delivering high levels of performanceExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence othersFluent in English (both written and spoken) Able to work with minimal supervision yet deliver business objectivesResult MeasuresEffectiveness of new product implementation process Satisfying customer quality, delivery and cost performance criteriaEstimate turnaround times Management of tooling budgetsProcess Improvement performance Machine tool utilisationSalary&BenefitsSalary and benefits to be agreed .
