General Responsibility: Responsible for new product development from engineering design concept to mass production. Follow up project to ensure all projects completed according to the development timeline and specific design requirements. Main Duties: 1) Manage the assigned projects and ensure a successful execution 2) Plastic components design includes creation of 2D control drawing and 3D CAD data. 3) Assist engineering debug through prototype sample making and engineering pilot run. 4) Project follow-up from project kick-off to high volume production. 5) Review pilot run sample and execute engineering change approval. 6) Review vendor quote and conduct product development cost analysis. 7) Monitor ongoing project’s schedule and update development progress tracking record. 8) Implement cost improvement program 9) Evaluate manufacturing capability of new supplier and perform supplier’s performance review. Requirements: 1) University graduate in Mechanical Engineering or above. 2) At least 5 years working experience in relevant industrial field ● Juvenile product industrial field. OR ● With Electric Car, Bike, or Power Wheel Chair industry file experience, with Motor or Battery knowledge. OR ● With Gas Motor cycle, Auto Car Industry filed experience, with Gas engine and Auto Mechanism Knowledge 3) Good command of English in both speaking and writing is a must. 4) Strong plastic and sheet metal tooling, tooling debug and product design experience 5) Strong plastic and sheet metal secondary operations experience in painting, powder coating, anodizing, sealing, progressive dies, ultrasonic, thermal staking and vacuum forming. 6) Strong DFMA and design for plastic tooling experience (draft for textures, rib design, fillets, tool safe/ reliable part design knowledge) 7) Experience of plastic injection and blowing molding 8) Experience of new product development and project management. 9) Electrical engineering and manufacturing experience is a plus. 10) Fabric, wooden product design experience is a plus. 11) Strong analytical and problem solving capability 12) Computer 2D&3D design skills, Microsoft Office skills 13) Good communication skills 14) Knowledge of quality applications, such as Six-Sigma, DFMEA, TQM is a plus, but not essential 15) Aspirant mentality in pursuing with new technology knowledge 16) Hard working and willing to work under pressure. 17) Healthy both in physical and mental. 联系方式： Interested parties please send your full resume both in English and Chinese with expected salary to kspe.hr@dorelchina.com .
