We are seeking respected and self motivated E mbedded Software Engineers for our new development center. You will have these responsibilities: Requirements analysis and embedded software architecture design Design, coding and unit testing of embedded software Integrated system test Write design documentation (architecture, module design, and detailed design) Support software release work Support transition from development test to manufacturing test Preferred Experience Requirements : Minimum Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics Minimum 5 years of embedded software design experience English proficiency: Able to read and accurately understand technical materials written in English Able to write and communicate in English with engineers in US offices Solid programming experience in C and C++ Solid experience with development of embedded software in embedded Linux, VxWorks, and other RTOS Practical experience with some industry standard software development methodologies and processes, including documentation control, source code control, change control, and defect tracking Understand hardware subsystems, interfaces and hardware debugging method Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas will be greatly valued: Object oriented programming experience IP Network protocols and technology Packet network time synchronization protocols, such as NTP and IEEE-1588 Telecom protocols and technologies such as E1, T1, ATM, Frame Relay Network optimization for IPTV transmission Network quality of service SNMP Monta Vista Linux Wireless communication systems and networks Alarm handling, logging and reporting Network security protocols such as Radius and others FPGA development or interfacing 联系方式： For immediate consideration in our new research and development center, please send your resume in English and Chinese to jobsinchina@symmetricom.com .
