The role is working within the Oracle DBA team (part of NDA Design team) which is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the Oracle database installations that make up the NDA system. As well as administering the development and test database installations, the team is the centre of expertise on Oracle capabilities within NDA and responsible for installation and configuration management of the Oracle environments. External to the Design Team, the successful applicant must liaise with the various stakeholder groups and provide effective communication, using the language and terminology of the particular group. The main stakeholders in NDA that the DBA team must work with include development teams, second and third level support and implementation teams within Global Operation.
