Interacts with Applied Biosystems customers, field sales, sales managers, product marketing and technical support staff. Works closely with customers to identify market opportunities through development and commercialisation of new applications on Applied Biosystems systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Heavily focused on the HID (Human Identification) accounts (> 80%), with the primary purpose of driving workflow expansion and operational efficiency for our HID customers through strong product knowledge, training initiatives, and a thorough understanding of forensic workflow requirements. 2. To provide technical&product knowledge and expertise to the sales process to facilitate competitive success, especially for consumable. 3. To support province/city level user meeting and workshop and adoption of new products. 4. To be a technical product champion through preparation of sales tools, delivery of seminars, demonstrations&active participation in the selling process. 5. Assist the pre-sales process by demonstrating the technical advantages of Applied Market products to field staff and customers, especially for consumable. 6. Coordinate or perform product demonstrations for customers to assist the sales process as appropriate. Can be live or via Webex. 7. To ensure the success of User Meetings/workshop? for province/cities lab? and assist communications both to and within the user base. 8. Provide troubleshooting to customer to ensure the success of workflow. 9. To provide application and software training if necessary. 10. To provide technical support for the adoption of new products. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor"s Degree (B.S./B.A.) in a scientific discipline (Molecular Biology related is preferred). Completion of an advanced degree in science or PhD is strongly desired. Requires a minimum of 2-3 years experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry research or application. Preferred experience in Health Care or Biotech&large corporations. Proven system analytical problem solving skills. Able and willing to learning new technology and new skill. Well communication skills required, either to internal partner and customers. Well oral and written English skill./Well computer skills using windows and Microsoft office.
