This position involves the development of Automated Hardware Stress Tests based upon a TCL/Expect based Software Platform , as well as other automation tools involving web designs and databases. This engineer will be responsible for defining, developing, and verifying test scripts and identifying test equipment and set architectures required to test new hardware products within an automated HW Test environment. Additional responsibilities will include providing design for testability input, writing functional specifications, developing and executing test plans, performing product test escape analysis and providing test escape resolution recommendations. Willing to work flexible hours and ability to travel required. Skills Required: 2+ years of working experience in related software development . Master degree preferred Ability to plan projects. Initiate reviews of ideas and technical objectives within and across business units. Working experience with database - knowledge of SQL (SQL92+) and DB design. Web design -jsp, j2ee, jdbc, odbc, html, xml and xslt. Programming language: C/C++, TCL/Expect. Operating system: Unix, Linux, Microsoft Windows. Network programming knowledge: TCP/IP, socket programming, telnet, etc. Device drivers programming. Software debugging and regression testing skill. Fluent in English - reading/writing/speaking.
