VWS Beijing Office is involved in the design, construction and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants for municipal clients both in China and South East Asia. The Position Reporting to: Project Manager Description of the position: The Civil Engineer will be in charge of coordinating and supervising civil works on site Main responsibilities: § Coordination of civil works activities on site. § Management of Civil Works Company as Partners § Coordination with suppliers. § Progress supervision, monitoring&reporting. § Coordination with Design Institute and/or Technical Department for clarifications or problem resolutions. § Estimation&assessment of claims. § Monitor implementation of Works procedures, Quality procedures and Safety plan. § Provide input on the Construction Programme. Based in: Shenzen for the project duration of about 2 years Mobility: Not required for this posting. Able to travel all over China for subsequent posting Candidate Profile Education: § Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Experience: § Minimum 1 yrs experience in the position of Site Civil Engineer on site or as a consultant.
