Be responsible for issuing engineering change notices. - Own costing for products. Be responsible for driving cost reduction initiatives. - Provide support to the product line manager in addressing customer concerns about the product. - Drive failure analysis and plans for the products. Work with reliability and quality engineering to ensure product quality is achieved and maintained to the GRE-468 standard. - Work with design teams to achieve good new product introduction initiatives. Must be the “link” between design and manufacturing. - Provide product transfer support as needed. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or higher in the major of electronic engineering, optical engineering, or other relevant field. - At least 2 years work experience in electronics manufacturing, preferably in opto-electronics.
