With over 700 employees and annual turnover of US$100 million, the company has a wholly owned manufacturing plant in Panyu Guangzhou (one hour from Guangzhou down town with shuttle bus available). Position Overview Report to an expatriate Financial Controller, the China Financial Controller will supervise a team of 10 accountants for the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company and business (mainly export). The appointee should maintain efficient and effective communication with the head office in US and the expatriate Financial Controller. These include: Be a member of the management team and provide valuable insights and input on financial management. Financial Reporting, General Ledger Accounting, Cost Accounting and Inventory, Accounts Payable, Credit / Accounts Receivable, Payroll. Compliance with corporate policies, Compliance with PRC statutory requirements, Internal Audit / Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance. Treasury / Cash Planning, Budgeting / Forecasting, Financial Analysis / Sales&Marketing Support Tax Reporting, Transfer Pricing, Cycle Count Program, Management Reporting. Candidate Specifications University degree or associate degree holder with major in Accounting, Economics or related subjects. Holder of CICPA qualification is preferred. 10 years work experience in finance and accounting field is required. Previous experience with multinational manufacturing companies preferably with good experience of ERP system and lean management. Well-versed in China accounting and tax. Prior exposure to international accounting standards e.g. USGAAP Is self-motivated and mature. Has the ability to effectively interact and communicate with local accounting team, the international offices and business partners. Able to work independently and under pressure. Fluent in Chinese and English, written and verbal.
