Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing supply chain management systems to support the business vision of APC-MGE. He/she must be capable of integrating his/her activities with other functional leaders of the business to bring focus to the organization meeting customer satisfaction and business fulfillment goals. 2. He/she should have experience of at least 5 years in supply chain management and 3 years in manager role in the manufacturing environment of electro-mechanical assemblies and systems 3. He/she must possess excellent communications abilities to reach out all levels within the organization driving cross functional continuous improvement through lean initiatives using 7-step problem solving methology to achieve manufacturing excellence in the organization. 4. He/she must have strong leadership and organizational skills and robust negotiation ability to build collaboration and synergies with business partners. An absolute focus on customer service should be achieved through a very positive and collaborative culture. 5. He/she is responsible for hiring competent people of his/her team and develop their skills to support the operations effectively. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Managing supplier-customer supply chain 1) Manage sales administration, customs activities, and supply process to maximize customer satisfaction on (logistics) cost, quality and delivery, respecting environmental regulation (customs process including bounded/non bounded process, components/finished goods duty rate ? 2) Manage forecast process (ICP, MPS ? and monitor ERP parameters maintenance, to ensure finished goods manufacturing on time within optimized components stock and manufacturing flexibility level 3) Select, evaluate and manage freight supplier to ensure right logistic cost and quality 4) Evaluate and manage selected components suppliers to ensure quality and delivery through IQC and supplier quality assurance Leading supply chain committee 1) Report supply chain results to management 2) Propose and lead process improvement Participating in related processes 1) Define/input right logistics guidelines (Lead time, MOQ, duty rate? to projects 2) Participate in and validate supplier final choice (audit ?. Assign daily work to the team and coach the team for higher performance and conduct regular performance appraisal to validate skill development and facilitate management of employee career path. -Perform budget exercise and execute operating cost controls. -Undertake special projects from time to time. SCOPE&SIZE: 1. Direct Reports: Warehouse Manager, Logistics Supervisor, Material Planner, Procurement Team Leader, Supplier Quality Engineers 2. Team Members: Warehouse Clerk, Warehousemen, JIT Call-off, Logistics Specialist, Procurement Buyers EDUCATION AND MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL: 1. Qualified candidates will possess a four-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM REQUIRED: 1. Candidates with Black Belt experience are preferred KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 1. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, excellent functional, project and program management leadership skills, as well as excellent computer, project management and leadership abilities. 2. Candidate must have the ability to interface with and influence all levels of management is essential. 3. Candidate must have knowledge in ISO 9000/14000 Quality&Environmental Management Systems, and must be proficient in advanced statistical quality techniques such as Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and other related Six Sigma concepts. 4.
