Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server best practices, software applications, various operating system environments are essential to the position. Essential Functions: Optimize stored procedures and queries. Perform analysis of data activity utilizing SQL Profiler and determine database tuning recommendations Support and participate in product integration and testing with direct interaction with Support, QA, as necessary. Troubleshoot database issues and maintain Database integrity / performance on company SQL servers. Work with developers to fix application issues Assist with product testing and QA Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High motivation and consistent work ethic Ability to analyze complex technical issues and design potential solutions. Preferred Education: BSCS or equivalent experience.
