职位描述/要求： The position is for the world scale Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) plant associated with the Shell Eastern Petrochemicals Complex, in Singapore. The project is in detailed engineering design phase. The plant will be located within the Singapore Petrochemicals Complex in Jurong Island. Start-up of the MEG plant is expected in Q3 2009, and the successful candidate will remain in the position through stable operation and be part of the permanent running operation. The incumbent will follow through the work of the detailed engineering team overseeing owners interest in terms of technical safety and plant maintainability, keeping to business objectives and play a key role fulfilling maintenance needs during the implementation and start up phase. Responsibilities: Set up and implement Risk Base Inspection program. Ensure integrity and reliability of plant facilities through technically sound and cost effective Inspection programs . Provide technical information and advice to maintenance and operations on selection of materials of construction, corrosion matters including protection coatings and inspection requirements. Assist the Turnaround (TAR) manager in planning, organizing and execution of plant TAR (Inspection related) to ensure safe and timely completion and within budget. Play key role in the Scheme to extend periods between Inspection of Statutory Pressure Vessels and to provide guidance and advice to Operations and Maintenance on this Scheme. Requirements: Experience in Inspection of fabrication work, welding and corrosion in petrochemical industry ) required. A strong preference for prior Ethylene Oxide Glycols (EOG) experience. ( deleted as this requirement is repeated in preceding requisite.). Recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science and minimum of five years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of pressure vessel codes and API ( American Petroleum Institute) inspection code. .
